Working population that practice telecommuting regularly in Spain 2022, by region
The COVID-19 outbreak changed many aspects of people's lives all around the world. One of the most noticeable one was the new employment arrangements by which many professionals had to work from home to stop the spread of coronavirus. The latest studies on telecommuting in Spain show that the Community of Madrid was the Spanish region that registered the highest share of teleworkers in the country, with 13.2 percent of its labor force working from home as of 2022.
