Cyber risk insurances for Italian businesses 2018-2019, by category
While the cyber insurance market is still under development in Italy, 19 percent of respondents state that their business has chosen an insurance entirely dedicated to cyber risks in 2019. With 37 percent, the largest share of respondents is still evaluating insurance policies. Insurances covering cyber risks can be effectively implemented in a risk management process that seeks to diminish an organization's risk of financial loss or reputation damage from a malfunctioning of its information system. Therefore, cyber risk management is an important pillar of a company's overall strategy.
