Projected adoption rates of new-energy heavy-duty trucks in U.S. 2030
Projections for the use of new-energy heavy-duty trucks in 2030 suggest they will be most popular for long-haul traffic, with a total adoption rate of 24 percent. Liquefied natural gas, due in part to its fast refueling abilities, is pegged to be the most adopted fuel type in the United States for new-energy heavy commercial vehicles.
