Annual import capacity of largest global LNG companies worldwide June 2021
The Korea Gas Corporation is able to receive and store 96.4 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas every year, more than any other company in the world as of June 2021. Japan's Energy for a New Era ranked second, with an operating import capacity of 70.1 million metric tons per year. In 2020, Japan was the largest importer of LNG in the world.
