Opinion on money spent on programming and English education for children Japan 2021

According to a survey conducted in 2021, over 54 percent of parents in Japan stated that they would like to spend money on supplementary English education for children. Close to 39 percent agreed that they would pay for private programming education for their children. Programming courses became compulsory in primary schools in the country from 2020.
