Use of online travel agency in Japan 2023, by purpose

According to a survey on usage penetration of online travel agencies conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2023 in Japan, 81 percent of online travel agency users stated that they utilized it to book accommodations. The survey found this to be the most common purpose online travel agencies were used for in Japan, followed by the purchase of means of transport, and the booking of holiday packages.
