UK: paper & card packaging POM by source 2019

Approximately five million metric tons of paper and card packaging were placed on the market in the United Kingdom in 2019. Of this total, 1.7 million metric tons came from the consumer sector, with 3.3 million metric tons coming from the non-consumer sector. The volume of home delivery packaging placed on the market has increased by 90 percent since 2014 to 0.63 million metric tons. This growth is due to the rise in online shopping in the UK.
