According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies (OTA) in June 2023, 74 percent of respondents from Taiwan booked their travel accommodation on online travel agencies several months before their trip. Respondents from Taiwan shared this sentiment when it came to purchasing travel tickets.
