Monthly income per person in Angola, by type 2018-2019
The monthly income per capita in Angola was estimated at 15,454 Kwanzas (Kz) (23.65 U.S. dollars) between March 2018 and February 2019. From the total, 9,735 Kz (14.9 U.S. dollars) had origin in sources related to work, while 2,751 Kz (4.21 U.S. dollars) were considered non-labor income. This category comprised transfers, property and capital income, and extraordinary income. Nearly three thousand Kz (4.54 U.S. dollars) were cumulated by self-supply activities, as food produced and consumed by households living on agricultural production, for example. Overall, the monthly income per person in urban areas was higher than in rural areas.
