Volume of CPO used as biofuel feedstock Indonesia 2013-2022
In 2022, it was estimated that.9.48 million metric tons of crude palm oil (CPO) was used as biofuel feedstock in Indonesia. The biodiesel program in Indonesia was the main domestic consumer of crude palm oil. The government had planned to introduce a B40 biofuel mix in 2020, up from the current 30 percent mix of biodiesel However, this planned roll-out was delayed due to weaker CPO prices and a reduction in vehicular traffic due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Indonesia kept its goal for biodiesel blending at 30 percent in 2022.
