China: nuclear reactors import value by origin

China imported around 288 million U.S. dollars worth of nuclear reactors as of October 2022. Approximately half of them were from France, although the import value of nuclear reactors from this country decreased from 308 million U.S. dollars in 2020. In 2022, the United States (U.S.) was the second leading importer of nuclear reactors to China, followed by Russia. In 2021, China ranked second for primary energy consumption from nuclear energy worldwide, after the U.S.
