Solar PV generation in Latin America 2021 by country
Mexico was the largest solar photovoltaic producer in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2021, with more than 20.2 terawatt hours produced. Brazil and Chile followed, with 16.8 and 10.6 terawatt hours generated, respectively. These three countries concentrated roughly 80 percent of solar photovoltaic energy generation in Latin America that year.
