According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies (OTA) in June 2023, 47 percent of Thai respondents purchased flight, bus, train, or ship tickets or rented vehicles on online travel agencies several months before their trip. By comparison, five percent purchased flight, bus, train, or ship tickets or rented vehicles on online travel agencies on the day of their trip.
