Pharmaceutical production value in Mexico 2021, by segment
As of August 2021, antibiotics accounted for more than half of Mexico's pharmaceutical production value. Meanwhile, oncological products concentrated nearly six percent of the production value in the North American country. In 2020, the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector added more than 76.35 billion Mexican pesos to the country's economy.
