Tobacco: number of producers by type France

Between 2016 and 2019, the number of tobacco producers in France was almost halved, going from 806 to 428 in just three years. Over 250 manufacturers cultivated light air-cured tobacco in 2019, while 160 tobacco producers specialized in flue-cured tobacco.
