By 2022, trades of the euro currency on forex was over 2.29 trillion U.S. dollars on average on a single day, a significant increase on the turnover of 470 billion U.S. dollars recorded in 2001. The forex - or foreign exchange market - turnover per day is a figure that is not often measured, only once every three years.
