The coronavirus crisis has accelerated the growth of e-commerce, leading to an increase in demand for industrial buildings. In 2022, the top ten industrial big-box leasing markets in the United States measured a total of 117 million square feet in leasing transactions. Inland Empire was the biggest market, accounting for approximately 47 million square feet of space leased.
