Children's and young adult books: new releases in Germany 2003-2022

In 2022, approximately 8,321 new children's and young adult books were released in the German book market. This was an increase compared to the year before, with 7932 new releases. Figures fluctuated somewhat during the observed time period, though they were generally noticeably higher in recent years than at the beginning of the 2000s.
