Covid-19 vaccine doses expected in France 2020-2021, by laboratory
The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic led governments to develop vaccine strategies to fight against the virus. In France, the vaccination campaign started on December 27, 2020, with the injection of the BioNTech-Pfizer vaccine, which was the first one authorized by the French health authorities. Although vaccines developed by other laboratories were still subject to approval while the vaccination campaign began, France already ordered doses for the first half of 2021. The vaccine developed by AstraZeneca is expected to be the most abundant in June 2021, with 28 million cumulated doses ordered.
