In a survey conducted in 2020, 68 percent of respondents in the United Arab Emirates reported an increase in their online shopping of groceries, food, and beverages compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, the largest share reported a decrease in online shopping of apparel, shoes, and accessories.
