Distribution of start-ups in India 2020, by sector
In 2020, the enterprise technology had the highest share of start-ups, with 15 percent. The top five sectors count for roughly 50 percent of India’s new start-ups in 2020, which also included health technology, financial technology, educational technology, and retail technology. As of 2020, India is the third largest technology start-up ecosystem in the world.
