Canada newspaper circulation 2020, by province

In 2020, the total circulation of newspapers in Canada (including both daily and community newspapers) was 33.88 million. Circulation in British Columbia was 34.76 million, more than twice that of Manitoba, whereas Yukon had a total newspaper circulation of just 13.08 thousand. Whilst controlled (free) circulation accounted for 22 million of the total, some parts of Canada had a higher circulation of paid newspapers than controlled, such as the Northwest Territories, Yukon, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island
