According to a survey on the future of e-commerce after the COVID-19 pandemic, the most important criteria when choosing online shopping platforms in Saudi Arabia was having the best prices at about 63 percent of respondents. It was followed by the availability of free shipping at 53 percent of respondents. Approximately 90 percent of respondents in UAE and Saudi Arabia decreased their spending to prioritize needs over wants following the economic pressures of the pandemic.
