Share of youth engaging in risky drinking in Australia from 2007 to 2019
According the 2019 National Drug Strategy Household Survey in Australia, 18.8 percent of Australians between the ages of 18 and 24 years were exceeding the Australian alcohol risk guidelines. This proportion has dropped dramatically from almost 30 percent in 2007 but still remains above the national average.
