Japan: awareness of cyclists on proper lane use 2020

As of July 2020, more than 90 percent of surveyed cyclists acknowledged that they knew about the correct roadway usage of bicycles in Japan. Notwithstanding, the vast majority of respondents believed that using the roadway with a bike, as stipulated by law, is dangerous.

Original question: "Do you know that bicycles have to drive on the left side of the road?"
According to paragraphs 17 and 18 of the Japanese Road Traffic Act, it is stipulated that, in principle, bicycles have to drive on the left edge of the left side from the center of roads where the sidewalk and roadway are separated.
