Mineral production value breakdown in India FY 2022-2023, by sector

In the financial year 2022-23, India's private sector accounted for the largest market share of domestic mineral production. With a mineral production value of approximately 747.25 billion Indian rupees, the private sector accounted for more than half of India's mine production that year. Meanwhile, India's public sector mines accounted for a 40 percent share of the country's mineral production.
