Motor vehicle imports to Argentina 2010-2021
Motor vehicle imports in Argentina plummeted in 2019 when compared to previous years, a drop which continued in 2020 and 2021. The South American country imported approximately 172,100 vehicles in 2021 – including passenger cars, trucks, and buses – the lowest figure reported in the decade. In comparison to the previous year, this represented a decrease of some 3.65 percent. Brazil was the leading country of origin for Argentine vehicle imports.
