Plans to implement new digital technologies and services in SMEs in Finland 2019
In terms of new digital technologies and services, cloud solutions were most commonly used by Finnish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve their business processes. As of 2019, 60 percent of the surveyed companies said that they had evaluated and implemented cloud services in their business. Furthermore, information and cyber security solutions were implemented by nearly half of the SMEs. Other digital technologies were not yet widely utilized, however, 46 percent stated that they will evaluate the use of 5G technology in future.
