Production value of livestock in Kenya by type 2021
As of 2021, cattle and calves were the main items in the livestock sector in Kenya, in terms of production value. Cattle and calves production generated 103.5 billion Kenyan shillings (KSh), nearly 800 million U.S. dollars. Overall, the value of livestock production, including livestock products, was measured at 161.6 billion KSh (around 1.3 billion U.S. dollars).
