Total bioenergy capacity in Egypt 2012-2022
As of 2022, the bioenergy capacity in Egypt amounted to 123 megawatts. This represented an increase of roughly 83.6 percent from the 2018 level. Bioenergy constituted around 1.95 percent of the total renewable energy capacity in the country.
