During a 2020 survey, 44.2 percent of responding ad block users from the United States stated they were more willing to support sites that are Better Ads-certified than sites that were not Better Ads-certified. Better Ads standard is being developed by an international alliance of online media companies aimed at improving consumers' experiences with digital advertising. In the U.S., around a quarter of internet users has enabled ad blocking.
