The results of a report investigating diversity in the UK publishing industry revealed that over 70 percent of employees were from ABC1 ('middle class') backgrounds in all roles from junior employments to executive management. Meanwhile, representation of employees hailing from lower income backgrounds was below 25 percent across all categories.
