U.S. MMO gamer lifetime in-game purchase spend 2020, by gender
A February 2020 survey of MMO (massively multiplayer online game) players in the United States found that 13.9 percent of female respondents stated to have never spent anything on in-game purchases. In contrast, only 8.3 percent of male respondent claimed the same. In-game purchases are a common way to monetize free-to-play titles.
