According to an October 2020 study, most surveyed U.S. and Canadian consumers preferred to book or plan travels online rather than with in-person interactions. Respondents aged between 18 and 24 years were the fondest of the online channel, with 63 percent of them choosing this method when looking to book or plan trips. Meanwhile, 31 percent of respondents aged 55 years or older preferred to rely on a mix of online and in-person channels.
