Between February 2020 and February 2021, apartment rents grew by more ten percent in two different states in the United States. Delaware saw the highest increase in the average monthly apartment rent with 12.21 percent. In the District of Columbia, on the other hand, rents dropped by approximately 13.34 percent. The District of Columbia was also one of the most expensive states to rent an apartment in.
