Japan: opinion on achieving gender equality in society 2022

According to a survey conducted in 2022 on gender equality in Japan, almost 77 percent of respondents were the opinion that the country should aim at achieving gender equality from now on. Only about six percent of survey participants thought that Japanese society should not focus on actions improving gender equality.
