In a September 2020 survey among adults in the United States, many respondents said that the COVID-19 pandemic did not change their interest in buying a home. Millennials were most likely to have changed their homeownership plans: 28 percent of Millennials were more interested in buying a home due to the COVID-19 pandemic compared with nine percent of Baby Boomers.
