Number of official engagements of the British Royal Family 2014-2023
The British Royal Family undertook approximately 3,000 official engagements in the year ending March 2023, compared with 2,300 in the previous year. Although the British monarchy usually undertakes around 3,000 engagements, the number of these in 2020/21 was significantly lower due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
