Cuba: maritime freight transportation 2015-2019, by type
In 2019, the international maritime freight transport in Cuba – including imports, exports, and traffic between two foreign ports – amounted to 392.2 thousand metric tons, a decrease of nearly 31 percent in comparison to the previous year. The domestic maritime cargo transport also experienced a similar drop in 2019, totaling some 5.7 million tons.
