U.S. travelers choosing websites with eco lodging alternatives 2020, by generation
Sustainable tourism is a way of traveling that focuses on preserving and minimizing the harmful impact of tourism on the natural environment. During a U.S. survey in December 2020, 56 percent of respondents aged under 50 stated that they were more likely to use online platforms that offered search options for alternate and green accommodations. Meanwhile, those over 50 were only 28 percent more likely to do so.
