Willingness to take a COVID-19 vaccine in African countries 2020
According to a survey conducted between August and December 2020, Ethiopia ranked first in Africa in terms of the share of population willing to accept a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. Indeed, 94 percent of Ethiopian respondents would have taken the vaccine. On the other hand, great hesitancy regarding the vaccinations was observed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where only 59 percent of the people would have taken a COVID-19 vaccine.
