During a 2019/2020 survey carried out among marketers with global responsibility for media and programmatic, 74 percent stated that they used an agency trading desk (ATD) whereas 71 percent said they used an independent trading desk (ITD or DSP); 84 percent said they utilized an in-house 'brand trading desk' or a 'hybrid' model.
