Electric bicycle buying intentions in England in 2020
In England, 44 percent of the population did not plan on buying a new bicycle as of 2020. Most of those planning to purchase a bike were unlikely to use an electric bicycle, compared to 19 percent considering themselves fairly or very likely to try an e-bike. To put this in context, bicycle sales and interest in e-bikes have increased during the Covid-19 pandemic.
