Expected time until buying a house among single households in Japan 2023
According to a survey conducted in 2023 on financial activities of one-person households in Japan, the majority of single households is not planning on purchasing a privately owned home in the future. Only about three percent of respondents, who are living alone, were planning to buy a home within the next three years.
