In 2019, approximately two thirds of medical cannabis authorizations granted in Brazil were targeted to neurological conditions. Meanwhile, psychiatry concentrated around 10 percent of the authorizations in the South American country. By 2027, medical cannabis spending in Brazil could exceed 360 million U.S. dollars.
