Usage of weight reduction services at aesthetic salons in Japan 2016-2022, by gender
According to a survey conducted in February 2022 in Japan, 4.8 percent of women and 4.1 percent of men used weight reduction services at specialized facilities in the past year. A typical weight reduction visit starts by determining the size of various problematic body parts, and is followed up with the treatment in form of professional advice and special massages.
