According to a survey conducted in January 2021, approximately 38 percent of surveyed Japanese planned to get a vaccination against the coronavirus (COVID-19). Another around 26.5 percent stated that they decided to get a flu shot after the outbreak of COVID-19. About 18 percent of respondents did not plan on getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
