In March 2021, 42.2 percent of U.S. small businesses operating in the wholesale trade estimated that business activities could go back to the pre-pandemic levels in at least six months. Another 17.3 percent stated that it might take four to six months to go back to normal level of operations relative to one year ago, while about nine percent of small businesses taking part to the poll believed a return-to-normal as unlikely to happen.
