Waiting time for an organ transplant by organ in Spain 2017-2021
In 2021, the median time on the Spanish liver transplant waiting list was 71 days, the lowest of the all the organs considered. On the contrary, patients that needed a pancreas transplant had to wait a median time of 503 days that year. The number of pancreas transplants performed in Spain reached 82 in 2021.
