Expected Tesla M&A deals with legacy automotive companies in the U.S. 2021
According to a survey conducted in the U.S. in January 2021, majority of respondents said that Tesla should move forward with merger and acquisition (M&A) deals that year. In terms of respondents' support, 33 percent said that Tesla should try to acquire Ford. This was followed by 27 percent of respondents who said that Tesla should complete an M&A deal with General Motors. A share of 40 percent of respondents said that Tesla should not try to acquire either company in 2021.
